  • I’m not even sure where to begin. Still trying to process everything. Just doesn’t seem real. Had plans to go see her the day she passed. Received the call and after that I just sat on the floor and cried. Karla took care of me…looked out for me…stuck up for me….and never failed me once the 4 years I was out at the East Liberty Plant. SHE TOOK CARE OF ALL OF US. I will never forget going into the office to ask questions. I would knell down beside her and she would completely stop what she was doing to give me her full attention. I can’t tell you how many times we waved to each other when I was on the tugger. Or how many times I was stopped on my tugger…by all the Temp Associates….asking…Is Karla in the Office? I have to talk to her! We all loved her and will miss her and that beautiful smile and kind generous heart. Prayers for her Husband and Daughters and the rest of her family.

  • Karla was the woman Roy loved with his whole being. The loss of his best friend, confidant, and wife has left a hole in his heart that will take time to heal. She was everything he ever wanted and had planned on being with for ever. She loved riding with the wind in her hair and they made many memories and friends along the way. She had two beautiful girls she loved deeply. She touched many lives and always had a smile to give. R.I.P. Karla.
