Karen A. Thebeault, 66, of Galion passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Galion Community Hospital.
Born May 5, 1951 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Thebeault and Genevieve (Wagner) Thebeault of Galion.
She was a graduate of Galion High School in 1969 and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galion. Karen worked as an operator for the telephone company in Mansfield, then worked ten years at the former D & M Plastics in Crestline and lastly worked for Timken in Bucyrus. She enjoyed writing mystery novels, playing on the computer and spending time with her cats that she dearly loved.
In addition to her mother she is survived by sisters Fran (Bill) Nolan of Warren, Marian (Ed) Weaver of Galion and Lee Beach of Galion; brother Brian Thebeault of Marion; 12 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by brothers James E., Michael P. and Mark G. Thebeault.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 135 North Liberty Street, Galion, Ohio 44833 with Father Paul Fahrbach as celebrant.
Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Crawford County in care of the funeral home.
