MANSFIELD: Julia Anna McCorkle, 91, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in Brookwood Place in Ashland.

The daughter of Julius and Edith (Orlando) Ceschini, Julia was born February 18, 1926.

On November 27, 1947 she married, Donald E. McCorkle in Greenup, Kentucky.  She attended Community Bible Church.  Julia enjoyed serving in the church, gardening, and spending time with family.

She is survived by sons Don (Cindy) McCorkle of Mansfield, Mark (Lesley) McCorkle of Malvern, and Mike  (Jeanette) McCorkle of Bellville; grandchildren Kelly (Brent) Lesseuer, Kasey  (Brian) Nolan, Mark, Jr. (Molly) McCorkle, Melanie (Joe) Stilson, Mike McCorkle, Jr. (Ashley), and Matt McCorkle; eight great grandchildren, sister Jo Ann Steve.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. McCorkle, infant brother Kenneth Ceschini, sister Erma Snider.

Friends may call Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 10 am to 12 noon in Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Samaritan’s Purse may be made at the funeral home.
