Judy A. Ingraham, 66, of Mount Vernon passed away Saturday, November 05, 2005 at the Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon, following an extended illness.
Judy was born on December 21, 1938 in Racine, Wisconsin, the eldest child of John and Ann (Perekovich) Bosanec. She was a graduate of Stout State College (now University of Wisconsin at Menominee). Before raising a family, she served as an officer in the Public Health Service. She was also a lifetime member of the Public Health Service Officers Wives Club. Since moving to Mount Vernon, she had been a member of Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and a volunteer bereavement counselor for Hospice of Knox County. She was a resident of The Laurels of Mount Vernon for several years.
On September 12, 1964 Judy married Samuel C. Ingraham 3rd, now of Mount Vernon, who survives her. In Columbus, Ohio Judy is survived by two daughters, Janet Ingraham Dwyer and Susan Ingraham, son-in-law, Andy Ingraham Dwyer, and grandchildren, Benjamin and Janelle. She is also survived by her brother, Tom Bosanec and his wife, Sue, sister-in-law, Sharon Bosanec, and other relatives in Racine, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother John Bosanec of Racine, Wisconsin
Private services and interment will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Calling hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2005 in the Saint Vincent de Paul Rectory Meeting Room, 303 East High St., Mount Vernon followed by a memorial service celebrated in Judy’s memory in the church.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Judy’s memory to Hospice of Knox County, 17700 Coshocton Ave., Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 or Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 303 East High St., Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 East High St., Mount Vernon, Ohio assisted the family with the arrangements.
