Judith Ann Johns 81, of Delaware, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the Arbors of Delaware.

She was born January 12, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of the late Walter Earl & Dorothy Juanita (Beougher) Burwell. Judith worked for Buckeye Valley School District as a playground supervisor, and then moved to Ohio Wesleyan University, as a secretary for 20 years before her retirement. She was a den mother for her boys while they were in the cub scouts. She was a member and attended Delaware Bible Church since the beginning in the late 1960’s , and was a member of AWANA for 40+ years. Judith was also a voting pole attendant during election years.

Left to cherish her memory are sons Greg (Patty), and Steve (Lori) Johns; grandsons Andrew, Joshua, Zachary, and Benjamin; sisters Wilma Dennis, and Blanche Louthain; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald in 2012, and brothers-in-law.

Judith was a faithful and strong willed individual that always volunteered her time to help. She enjoyed being in the outdoors walking. She also enjoyed square dancing, line dancing, and western dancing with her husband before his passing. She also enjoyed spending time with her sons, and grandsons.

Pastor Marvin Hintz will officiate a funeral service 11:00 am Friday, January 25th, 2019 at the Delaware Bible Church, 45 Belle Ave, Delaware, Ohio 43015. Family and Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at the Snyder- Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware Ohio 43015. Burial will take place in Marlboro Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed towards Alzheimer’s Association of Ohio, Delaware Branch, 39 West Winter Street, Delaware, Ohio 43015
