Juanita Frances Sutter, 87, of Melbourne, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Atlantic Shore Nursing Center in Melbourne.

Born January 26, 1928 in Middleport, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Mabel (Webb) Snyder. She married Gerald W. Sutter on December 14, 1946 and he preceded her in death on October 28, 2012.

Frances worked as a clerk for the U.S. Department of Defense at the Patrick Air Force Base. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge 1406 in Melbourne and also the N.C.O. Club at Patrick’s Air Force Base.

She is survived by her children, Joyce and David Kalbach of Redding, Pennsylvania, Rebecca and Dan Ross of Melbourne, Florida and Gregory and Sandra Sutter of Lecanto, Florida; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Dick and Edith Snyder of St. Petersburg, Florida, Paul Snyder of Ohio, Peggy Taylor of Southlake, Texas and Dima Garcia of Limerick, Pennsylvania.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son Douglas Sutter and siblings, Bob Snyder, Betty Donley, Hattie Duckworth, Earnel Snyder, Clifford Snyder, Jackie Snyder and Kathryn “Dolly” Lewis.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833, with Father John Miller, celebrant. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery
