MANSFIELD: Juanita Floro, 85, of Mansfield passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Juanita was born September 4, 1927 in Olive Hill, Kentucky the daughter of Robert and Sena (Nolan) Perry.
A certified LPN, Juanita worked at the former Rosemont Nursing Home in Mansfield. Selfless, Juanita’s caring nature made her a natural when it came to her profession as a nurse. She found joy in caring for others.
Juanita also loved a good bargain and found the best deals at local yard sales.
Juanita attended Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children Rhonda Wray, Robin Edwards, Danny (Mary) Perry, Sandy Floro, Dwain (Patricia) Perry, Mary Ann (Roy) Lee, Benny (Jean) Perry all of Mansfield and Betty Lou (Steve) Hicks of Tyro; 24 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; sister Anita Wells; brothers Monty, Louie, and Pete Perry; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Floro; son Billy Ray Williams; grandchildren Miranda, Michael, and Tyson; siblings Austie, Tarcy, Mayo and Maxine Perry; sons-in-law Bernard Wray and Tom Edwards.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 20, 2013 from 10am-12pm in the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where funeral services will begin at 12 pm. Pastors Earl Tackett and Harold Owens will officiate. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
