Joyce Eloise Raynard

Joyce Eloise Raynard, age 76 of Centerburg, passed away Wednesday, November 28th, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Gallipolis, OH to the late Roy and Louise (Day) Daniels. Joyce was a 1960 graduate of Hannan Trace High School, Mercerville, Ohio.

Joyce enjoyed cooking for everyone, tending to her flowers and garden, and beating family members in card games. She was very fond of spending time with her grandkids, always wanting to be a part of each grandchild’s life. She made certain to have unique and special days that honored each child individually.

In addition to being a homemaker, Joyce was the Fellowship Coordinator for the Women’s Ministry Fellowship of the Morrow Bible Church for several years. Joyce loved learning from the Bible, and enjoyed her daily devotional readings. She loved leading people to Christ, and strove for others to see Christ in her.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of over 53 years, Robert L. Raynard,  sons Robert L. Raynard, Jr. and Rick L. Raynard, both of Centerburg; daughter Rhonda (Scott) Lanham, Centerburg, four grandchildren: Taylyn, Mitchell, Kyle, and Gabi (Austin) and one great-grandchild: Kingston, as well as brother James (Phyllis) Daniels and sister Shelba Rossiter, both of Gallipolis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Carl and Wayne Daniels, and daughter Robin.

Friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 3rd, 2018 at the Morrow Bible Church, 423 Co. Rd. 204 in Centerburg, where services will be held Tuesday, December 4th at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Marvin Gassman officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens.
