Joseph R. Franco, 52, of Galion passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Galion Hospital.

Born July 31, 1964 in Lorain, he was the son of Joseph L. and Sharon L. (Born) Franco of Galion.

He was a graduate of Galion High School in 1982. Joe previously attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galion and worked at Broshco Fabricating Products in Mansfield for twenty years.

In addition to his parents he is survived by sisters Sheila Franco of Galion and Julie (Ronald) Lemon of Mansfield; brothers Bill (Becky) Franco of Cardington and Jeff (Crystal) Franco of Sandia Park, New Mexico; four nephews and three nieces.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 9 with Father Paul Fahrbach officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Galion.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice in care of the funeral home.
