Joseph Christopher “Joe” Beltran

December 29, 1970 ‒ June 24, 2015

Lexington, Ohio

LEXINGTON: Joseph Christopher “Joe” Beltran, age 44, passed away Wednesday morning, June 24, 2015 in his Lexington home with his mom by his side. He fought a courageous battle with cancer, and now he is at peace.

He was born December 29, 1970 in Hawthorne, California to parents Luis and Nancy (Van Bramer) Beltran. After he was graduated from Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights, California, he proudly served his country by joining the US Army.

Joe was always on his computer and he enjoyed playing computer games and chatting with friends online. His family will miss his general orneriness and even his good-natured teasing.

He is survived by his loving mother Nancy Van Bramer of Lexington; father Luis Beltran; and his dog that he loved so much, Sassy (she is a German Sheppard mix).

In addition to his paternal grandparents, Joe was preceded in death by his grandfather Frances Van Bramer who passed away December of 1963 and his grandmother Irene Van Bramer who passed away November of 2014. He was also very close with his great-grandmother Myrtle Meyer.

Although no public service will be held in his memory, his family hopes you will remember Joe in your own special way.

Snyder Funeral Homes is honored to serve Joe’s family and encourage you to share a fond memory or message of condolence to them.

  • Nancy,

It was so wonderful to meet with you today. I’m glad you were able to take such good care of Joe at home–I’m sure he was more thankful for you than you’ll ever know. Call me anytime with requests or questions.
