Joseph A. Roman Sr., age 47, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away  unexpectedly on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his residence. He was born on June 22, 1972 in Queens, New York, the son of Elias Roman Sr. and Kathy (Deni) Roman.

He is survived by his father; his children, Kayla (Logun) Crawshaw of Strasburg, Kimberly Roman of New Albany and Joseph Roman Jr. of Mount Vernon; a granddaughter, Reece Crawshaw; siblings, Elias Roman Jr., Lisamarie Rykowski, Tina Roman, Maria Roman-Vega and Sandra Roman-Iber, Alondra Roman and Kenneth Roman.

Joseph was preceded in death by his mother.

The family will observe private services.  The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Joseph A. Roman Sr.
