Johnny Worthington age 57 of Marion passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at his sons residence. Born December 11, 1955 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Fin and Bertha (Bishop) Worthington. Johnny was a self employed laborer and enjoyed camping, fishing, and flea markets.

He is survived by one son Jonathan A. Clark of Marion, three daughters Tonya L. Grubb of Marion, Angela M. (Greg) Tudor of Palm Bay, Florida, Michele R. Worthington of Marion, two brothers, four sisters, three grandchildren Tommy and Aleck Helms, and Benny Tudor, and a number of nieces and nephews. Several brothers and sister preceded Johnny in death.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Bible Baptist Church 1419 Linn-Hipsher Road in Marion. Memorial contributions may be made to OSU-James Cancer or Calvary Bible Baptist Church. Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors are assisting the family with the arrangements.   • I’m so sorry to hear of Johnnys passing,but cancer plays no favorites.I had the privledge of working at Walmart with Rose and I want her to know I’m so sorry and I’m sending prayers her way. I live just east of Pole Lane on Linn Hipsher Rd.I wanted you all to know that my father,Eugene Longacre is the one who gave Johnny ears of field corn this past spring/winter. He sends his regards and wishes you all his best.Now its time to heal and if anything you need, you guys know where we live.
