John S. Weber, 92, of Park Avenue, Mt. Gilead, Ohio died Wednesday, December 06, 2000 at his home.

He was born in Mt. Gilead, Ohio on July 1, 1908, the son of the late Gloyd & Clara Belle Hedrick Weber. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He resided in Galion and Iberia for most of his life, moving here in 1992. He worked as a machinist and tool & die maker for Perfection Steel Body, North Electric, and Eagle Crusher all in Galion until retiring. He was a member of the Galion Masonic Lodge, the Rosecrusions, and the American Legion Posts in Galion & Cardington.

He is survived by a stepdaughter Terrie Jabori of Aurora, CO; 5 grandchildren Cindy, Jackie, Jennifer, Jeff & Julie; 9 great grandchildren; a half-brother Peter W. Weber of Cleveland, OH; and a half-sister Marie E. Holmes of Cleveland, OH.

His wife Mary M. Hill Calendar Weber preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Mansfield Memorial Park. Arrangements are in care of the Snyder Funeral Home in Mt. Gilead.
