BELLVILLE: John Charles Ozanich, 54, Bellville, died Saturday morning, July 27th, 2019 at home, following an extended illness.

He was born December 21, 1964 in Cleveland, Ohio.

John, was a Sci-Fi enthusiast, as well as a  lover of music. John’s favorite band was Rush, and their album  2112 was his absolute favorite. John was also a sports fan, and the Cleveland Teams were his champions, win or lose. Through the years he remained steadfast in his loyalty to “my hometown teams.”

A true champion of education, John had a passion for learning and reading. He attended OSU, earning a BA in Psychology. A man of many interests, his most cherished times were those spent with his family. John was a very spiritual man and took great comfort in making his peace with the Lord.

John is survived by his father and stepmother Charles and Lorretta Bias; siblings Rick and (Suki) Bias, Karen (Mike) Bias, Paula Frazee, Charles, Jr. (Kat) Bias, Terrance  and (Lynn) Bias and Keith McIntyre; brother-in-law Doug Hildemann and numerous nieces and nephews; and three very special great nieces, Grace and Madison Thompson of  Ohio, as well as Lucy Bias of Arizona.

In addition to his Mother, Catherine Bias, he was preceded in death by an infant brother Richard Ozanich, and a sister Kelly Hildemann.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Lexington Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bias family.
