Jodell R. Neidlinger

October 22, 1973 ‒ March 23, 2019

Bellville, Ohio

BELLVILLE: Faith is the daring of the soul, to go farther than it can see.  Jodell Neidlinger was strong in faith.  Reading her bible and believing that God works for the good of those who love Him, she trusted in His promises, even if His plans were difficult to understand.  No longer bound by the limitations of her earthly body, Jodell R. Neidlinger passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 following a very short battle with an aggressive brain cancer.  She was 45.

The daughter of James and Lois (McKenzie) Lang, Jodell was born October 22, 1973 in Columbus and graduated from Columbus Bishop Ready in 1992.

On October 15, 2005, she married Martin Neidlinger.  Jodell’s family always came first as she homeschooled her children.  She was an amazing baker and cook making the best seven layer bars and fudge.  She enjoyed glass painting and cross stitch.

Jodell was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Martin Neidlinger of Bellville; four children Katarina, Gerard, Joseph, and Dominic Neidlinger; sister Janice Call; brother-in-law Joseph Baljak; father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald and Jamie Neidlinger; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jeffrey Lang and sister Jamie Baljak.

Her family will receive friends Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 4 pm – 7 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 11 am in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137, where burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Neidlinger family may be made through the funeral home (please make checks payable to Martin Neidlinger).
