Joan Ann Wendling Kaufman
June 26, 1939 ‒ March 23, 2014
MANSFIELD: Joan Ann Wendling Kaufman, 74, of Mansfield passed away Sunday morning, March 23, 2014 in Ohio Health MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.
Saying goodbye is never easy. And there is nothing in this life harder than saying goodbye to those you love and hold most dear. But we shouldn’t think about it as saying goodbye, instead we should revel in the fact that we’ll be reunited once again in the presence of God. Joan’s love of life and ability to light up a room from the moment she walked in will never be forgotten.
Her faith, strength, and determination will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her and were inspired by her. So instead of saying goodbye, let’s say “see you later” in another place at another time. And until we meet again, we’ll feel your spirit in the air, hear your spirit in our laughter, and see your spirit in the beauty God has created around us, and our love will never die!
Joan is survived by her husband Larry Kaufman of Mansfield; daughter Lorrie (Thamer) Musbah; granddaughter Anna Musbah; brother Gordan (Cindy) Wendling of Mansfield; niece Holly (Chad) Wendling Van Dyne; nephew August (Shanon) Wendling; aunts Elizabeth Franzen and Jean Baughman along with extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 4-7 pm in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. A vigil service will be held Wednesday at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday at 11 am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, celebrated by The Rev. Father Jeremy Miller. Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
