Jim “JT” Thomas, age 73 of Delaware, OH, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 in Delaware. He was born August 22, 1946 in Columbus, OH to the late Roderick and Virginia Thomas.

Left to cherish JT’s memory are his wife of 48 years, Carole Thomas; son, Andy (Jenny) Thomas; grandchildren: Lucy, Maggie, Casey, and Max Thomas; sister, Connie Yeager, sister-in-law, Claire Thomas; and several other relatives and friends.

JT enjoyed a good golf game, and was always up for a game of cards. He retired after more than twenty years as a computer programmer and analyst with the U.S. Department of Defense. JT was a member of the Moose Lodge of Delaware, and was a previous member of the Elks Lodge, and Sons of the American Revolution. He was able to enjoy several years of retired life, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, JT was preceded in death by his brother: Michael Thomas.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr., Delaware, OH. A memorial service celebrating JT’s life will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
