  • So sorry to hear this. Did not know he had been ill. I played a lot of basketball with Jerry when he was in high school and after he graduated. Rest in peace Jerry.

  • It was an absolute privilege to have not only met but known Shaun, and to get to know his family. We the nursing staff at Sherman Terrace absolutely loved his charisma and love for life. My heart breaks for all of you, his life was cut way to short, but one thing he said was, he was happy if one thing came of all of it was that his family was together again. He talked so much about his baby boy and how much he loved him. Heaven didn’t just gain an angel, but a soldier with angel wings. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. Til one day we all meet again. It was a privilege to have met all his family, his sister whom he said was so wired for life, his mom who he loved, his dad whom he cherished for being his shoulders when he wasn’t strong, and his son whom he adored and worried so much about. Thank you all for sharing him with us, I’ll never forget his late night popciles, and silly names…: he was an amazing person to know….

“Blessed are the peacemakers; for they may be called the children of God.”

    Matthew 5:9

  • Dear Joyce,
