Jerry Lee Mossman, 69, of Ostrander died Tuesday morning at the Delaware Court Health Care Center. He was born March 11, 1938 in Newark, Ohio to Amos Mossman and Edith (Souders) Mossman. A retired inspector from the Civil Engineering Department of the City of Columbus, he had served in the Army reserves for 6 years and had been a Delaware resident since 1983 and an Ostrander resident since 1995. He enjoyed the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, and the OSU Buckeyes. He is survived by a daughter, Pamela Mason of Columbus;
son, David Mossman of Columbus; special companion, Janet Kelley of Ostrander;
4 grandchildren, Josh, Drew, T.J., and Pete Mossman; great grandson, Jacob Mossman;
daughter-in-law, Susan Mossman of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sons Michael and Mark Mossman. Funeral services will be held on Friday June 1st at 2:00 pm at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, Delaware where the family will receive friends from 12:00 (noon) until 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
