Jeroma Marie Warden

MANSFIELD: Jeroma “Jeri” M. Gentille Warden, 76, of Pulver List Road, Mansfield, died Thursday, December 28, 2006 in her home following a brief illness.
She was born June 2, 1930 in Mansfield to Samuel J. and Marie Esther (Mack) Gentille, graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1949 and remained a lifelong area resident.
A gifted dancer, Jeroma was associated with Ethel Batten Dance Academy where she taught dance and ballet classes for over 25 years. She was affectionately known to her students as Miss Jeri. She was employed by Wyatt Super Dollar until her retirement.
Jeri loved to bowl and was a member of Park Avenue Ladies
League at Park Lanes.
More than anything else, she loved her family, and was never so busy that she couldn’t spend time doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Deborah J. and Steven R. Bowers of Mansfield; two grandchildren Betsy J. Bowers of Mansfield and Silas R. Bowers of Westerville; two great grandchildren Gavon and Alyse; sister and brother-in-law Cecelia A. and Matteo Cortelletti of Mansfield; a brother Samuel T. Gentille of Mansfield; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law John and Violet Warden of Shelby, Margaret Warden of Mansfield and Mary Margaret Meister of Dayton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George H. Warden on August 4, 1993 and a brother Phillip Michael Gentille.
A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 11 am at Mansfield Memorial Park, 2507 Park Avenue West.
The Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements
