Jeremy David “Ziggy” Dawson, 21, of 414 N. Rock Road, Mansfield, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at home.

Born March 21, 1983 in Shelby, he was the son of Douglas and Christine Wisner Dawson of Ontario.

He was a graduate of Ontario High School in 2001 and a member of Westwood Alliance Church. Jeremy has been working at Circut City in Ontario. He loved golf and being with his family and friends. He had a contagious sense of humor and the ability to put joy in the hearts of his family for whom he was a source of strength. He was a role model for his brothers, sister and cousins.

In addition to his parents he is survived by three brothers and a sister, Josh Dawson, of Naples, Fla. and Scott, Jessica and Eric Dawson, of Ontario; his paternal grandparents, Clayton and Phyllis Dawson of Lakewood, Fla.; aunts and uncles, Lynn and Wayne Hull, Nancy and Rick Weisman and Cheryl and Tom Webb, of Atlanta, Kathy and Louie Salvati and Rob and Connie Wisner, of Galion and Missie and Robert Stone, of Wharton; 15 cousins, Jason, Heather and Taylor Weisman, Shannon, Zach, Cody, Caleb and Austin Chaffin, Dustin Hull, Sarah Salvati, Katelyn and Lauren Wisner and Kristy, Candace and Matthew Stone.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bob and Donna Wisner.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2004 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home. Graveside services for the family will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Park in Lexington with Rev. Doyle Peyton officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeremy Dawson Memorial Fund, that will assist the Ontario High School Golf Program, and left at the Richardson-Davis Funeral Home, 218 S. Market Street, Galion, OH 44833..
