Jeoffrey David Moder

Jeoffrey David Moder, 34, of Rhinehart Road, Butler passed away Monday evening, June 12, 2006 from injuires received in a motor vehicle accident near Mount Vernon. He was born on July 26, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio a son of Mary L. (Wigal) Shaffer, who survives of Butler. Jeoffrey was a 1991 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. After high school, he joined the Ohio National Guard and then after his service in the Guard, he worked in the construction business for 11 years until he was hurt in a motorcycle accident. Currently, Jeoffrey was working for the Mount Vernon Kmart as a stockman and in maintenance. Jeoffrey attended the Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene in Mount Vernon.
In addition to his mother, Jeoffrey is survived by a sister, Nanette (Roy) Moder-Vanhouten of Butler; a niece, Britt Moder and a nephew, Geoffrey Moder both of Butler.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Linda Swinderman officiating at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
