Jennifer Elaine “Jes” Skeens, 24 of Delaware passed away unexpectedly Monday December 3, 2018 at her residence.

She was born January 10, 1994 in Delaware, the daughter of Eddie Duke Skeens & Tammy Jo Johnson .

Left to cherish her memory is her children Lucas & Ashlynn Barcus; sister Rebecca (Travis) Bentley; maternal grandmother Virginia Vernon; paternal grandfather Jerry “papa” Upchurch; nieces and nephew Sara, Peyton, and Nicolas Bentley; close friend Courtney Webb; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Connie “mama” Upchurch.

Jes enjoyed being outdoors, unless it was cold out, she hated being cold. During the summer she enjoyed spending her time fishing, camping and having bonfires. She was an outgoing and ambitious spirit. She loved her kids dearly and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Family and friends may gather Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (Formerly 1510 West William), Delaware Ohio from 11:30 am- 1:00 p.m.. Where funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. . Burial will take place in Ashley Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
