Jennetta (Lambert) Wray Hartz

Jennetta (Lambert) Wray Hartz went to be with the Lord Tuesday evening, November 17, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family. She was 68.

She was born June 2, 1947 in Carter Co., Kentucky to parents Dennis and Dollie (Parker) Lambert. She married the love of her life James Edward Wray and went on to have 4 wonderful children.

After several years Jennetta retired from Sarca in 2008, and she most recently attended Dean Road Free Will Baptist Church. Jennetta was full of life and enjoyed entertaining guests and her family. She loved to cook and bake and was well known for her fudge. In spare time, Jennetta worked in her flower and vegetable gardens and enjoyed bird watching. Above all though, she truly loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

She is survived by her children Betty (Charlie) Frazer, Dennis (Myrtle) Wray, Richard (Dori) Wray, and Rhonda Wray; grandchildren Amanda, Shelly, Travis, Daniel, Dennis, Dylan, Kelly, Maria, Richie, and James; 23 great grandchildren; siblings Lillie Roe, Kathryn Vairs, Alma Dummitt, Warren Lambert, Oliver Lambert, Elza Lambert, and Susetta Bland; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Jennetta was preceded in death by her first husband James Edward Wray, and second husband Robert E. Hartz; son Bernard E. Wray and siblings James R, William, Evelyn, James M, and Hagar.

Her family will receive friends Friday, November 20, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home Finefrock Chapel and an hour prior of calling on Saturday with a service at 12 p.m. Rev. Earl Tackett will officiate with burial at Springmill Cemetery.

  • The family is in my thoughts and prayers. I worked with Jeannetta at Sarca. She always had a smile on her face. I enjoyed her stories about her children and grandchildren. She will be missed my those that knew and loved her.

  • My Dear aunt Net was always one of my favorites. There wasn’t nothing she wouldnt do for anyone.. All the memories we shared from being the flower girl at her wedding to spending weekends as a young girl in mansfield with her<3 I will never fill the empty spot she held in my heart… its never goodbye its see you later
