Jenetta "Gertie" Barnhart

Jenetta “Gertie” Barnhart, 49, of Galion passed away Monday afternoon, January 6, 2014 at her residence.
She was born July 26, 1964 in Galion and was the daughter of Jim and Sue Hall.
Jenetta was a 1982 graduate of Galion High School and owned Gerties Pizza Shop in Mt. Gilead for several years. She worked as a grill cook for the Coney Island Diner in Mansfield for many years and had many close friends there.
Gertie is survived by her father Jim Hall of Fredericktown, three sons; Don Barnhart and wife Janelle Mendiola of Galion, Alex Barnhart of Columbus, Matthew Barnhart of Mansfield, 5 grandchildren; Zacharie and Kiera Barnhart, Caden, Nathan and Austin Mendiola, her cat Ralph, 3 brothers; Barry Clevenger and John Hall both of Illinois, Eric Hall of Fredericktown, a sister Laura Hall of Texas, cousins Brandy Zeger and Teresa Rachert and a an aunt Barb Howe all of Galion.
She is preceded in death by her mom Sue Hall and a long-time boyfriend Gene Adkins.
Jenetta loved this verse “When tomorrow starts without me and I’m not here to see, if the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me. I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today, While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say. I know how much you love me as much as I love you and each time you think of me I know you miss me too, so when tomorrow starts without me don’t think we’re far apart, for every time you think of me I’m right here in your heart.”
