Jean Ellen Morczek, age 75, of Marengo, Ohio, fell asleep in death with her family by her side on Monday, September 9, 2013 at her residence.
She was born March 24, 1938, in Columbus, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Wolf) Ennemoser.
She was a loving wife, of 55 years, to Adolph Morczek Sr. of Columbia Center, New York. She was also a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Church of God of Abrahamic Faith. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and genealogy. Jean was an avid movie fan and loved cooking. She loved her sweets, especially making buckeyes for all her children and grandchildren
Survived by her husband, Adolph Morczek Sr.; children: Patricia Gehring of Marengo, Adolph (Roberta) Morczek, Jr. of Prospect, Dennis (Renita) Morczek of Orient, Timothy Morczek, of Buckeye Lake, Brian (Loretta) Morczek of Prospect; siblings: Joseph Ennemoser of Marengo, Henrietta Brower of Galion, Shirley Ennemoser of Oklahoma, Margaret Bickom of New York, She has 12 very loved grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jeans was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Morczek; sisters, Hazel Ennemoser and Helen Williamson; brothers-in-law, Hiram Williamson, Chuck Brower; son-in-law, Chuck Gehring; daughter-in-law, Tina Morczek; granddaughter, Angel Morczek and great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Morczek.
Friends may call Saturday at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. where funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Bruce Reye officiating. Interment will follow in Green Mound Cemetery.
