  • I was honored to meet Jean a navy veteran and member of the Bellville American Legion Auxiliary. She was quiet but spoke with patriotism for her role in our military. Her eyes sparkled when she spoke about going to Washington DC on the Honor Flight and how they were treated with first class service. Thank you Jean for your service – we remember and honor your service and sacrifice. Until we meet again – Rest in Peace

  • To: Dwight, Anna Maria and the Dill Family,

We know at times like this it is hard to see past the sorrow,
but we hope that reflecting on the wonderful memories that
you and your mother Jean shared will help you to see light again.
Our deepest sympathies for your loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

  • Sincere sympathy to the Dill families. We remember Jean fondly and as one of Bellville’s finest.

  • Very sorry for the loss of Jean! She was a great lady and neighbor. Our deepest condolences to the entire Dill family.

  • My prayers and blessings are with you all. Jean was one of the saints. She was love incarnate. As Saint Paul defined love in I Corinthians 13,”Love is patient; love is kind. Love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way. It is not irritable or resentful. It does not rejoice in wrong-doing but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never ends.”” Jean was all of those good qualities and none of those bad ones. Her patience, kindness, and gentle heart blessed me and all who knew her.

May the same grace and faith which sustained her be with you and in you.

May the resurrection hope of Jesus, the life strengthening work of the Holy Spirit and the lavish, unending love of the Father be with you all, this week, in the days and weeks to follow, and, indeed, forever.

    Peace,
    Pastor Doug Pretorius
