Jason R. Gallant

July 15, 1975 ‒ August 22, 2018

Galion, Ohio

Jason R. Gallant, age 43, of Galion, passed away Wednesday evening, August 22, 2018.

On July 15, 1975, Jason was born in Galion, OH, son of Steven Gallant and the late Susan (Tackett) Gallant.

Jason married Tami L. Stuckman on December 23, 2007.  They had been together 16 years and shared the last 10+ years as husband and wife.

For most of his life, Jason worked as a roofer.  He enjoyed building things, working on his house and restoring anything that was old.  He also had a large knife collection and liked arrowhead hunting.

He loved Tami, his children and grandchildren more than anything in the world.  He especially cherished time with his granddaughter, Laken, going to the park to swing.

Jason will be dearly missed by his wife, Tami, of Galion; 10 children: Cody Stuckman, Darrien Cassell, Logan Lane, Makayla Cassell, Taylor Gallant, Mariah Woods, Haley Gallant, Kara Woods, Brooke Gallant, Cheyenne Woods; three grandchildren: Laken Cassell, Arianna Lane, and Kingston Stuckman; and his father, Steven Gallant of Bucyrus.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Rather than flowers, Jason’s family requests memorial contributions be made to Snyder Funeral Homes, 67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead, OH 43338, to assist with funeral expenses.

Jason’s family asks that if you are a user, struggling with addiction, please do not be afraid to get help.  There are people that care about you and want to help you.  You are not alone.
