Jason Lee Craig, age 46 of Morral, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
Jason was born January 6, 1975 in Marion, the son of Kenneth E. and Jackie L. (Scheifler) Craig. He was a graduate of Ridgedale High School in the class of 1993. He attended Marion Technical College and received his Associates degree in Engineering. Jason worked for the Whirlpool Corporation and was the owner and operator of “Exotica Car Audio” for 20 years. He was extremely talented and created incredible audio experiences for countless car lovers and enthusiasts from all around. He built custom cars and competed in several car shows. Home remodeling and carpentry came easy to Jason and he enjoyed that work.
Jason was gifted with a brilliant mind, an incredible sense of humor and with the heart of a warrior was a fighter. Jason’s solidly rooted faith in Christ sustained him throughout his life and helped him overcome any challenge or obstacle he faced. Jason always forged on with courage and looked at each day as a gift from God. He knew that life was about relationship with others, and he was always a loyal and devoted friend, that touched the lives of everyone he met. For several years Jason served the Morral community by sitting on the Village Council. He enjoyed music and was the drummer for a few different bands.
Jason is survived by his father, and “best friend”, Ken Craig; siblings: Sindy Craig, Timothy Craig, Bruce (Diana) Craig, and Randy (Lissa) Craig; uncle to: Emma & Julia Craig, Camryn Craig, Owin Seevers, Evan, Ashlyn, and Lauryn Craig; nephew of: Larry & Carol Craig, David & Judy Fox, Barbara Snyder, and Marshall & Peggy Craig; also surviving are numerous cousins.
Jason is preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Craig and brother Jeremy Craig.
Visitation will be Monday, October 18, 2021 at Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel, 360 East Center St., Marion from 4PM to 7PM; funeral service will be Tuesday at the funeral home at 10:30AM with Pastor Paul Bishop officiating; burial will be in Grand Prairie Cemetery.
