BELLVILLE: Jason Gabriel Weemhoff, age 28, of Bellville, died Tuesday evening May 29, 2001 at his home.

He was born December 4, 1972, in Washington Court House, attended Clear Fork High School, and was graduated from Knox Career Center, with the class of 1993.

A lifelong area resident, Jason’s hobbies were fishing, music, electronics, working on automobiles, and following NASCAR races. His great pleasure came from spending time with his two sons Jacob and Calob.

He is survived by his father and step-mother Richard Jay & Aimee Weemhoff, Sr. of Bellville; his mother and step-father Fran & Roger Scott of Bellville; two sons Jacob and Calob Weemhoff of Mansfield; five brothers and a sister-in-law Richard & Amy Jo Weemhoff, Jr. of Butler, Matthew Weemhoff of Bellville, Charlie Scott of Perrysville, Jim Scott of Galion, and John Scott of Willowwood; four sisters and a brother-in-law Tiffany & Douglas Luers of Butler, Cheryl Curry of Middlesburg, FL, Nicole and Chelsie Weemhoff of Bellville; and his paternal grandmother Irene Weemhoff of Washington Court House.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Elmer Weemhoff, and his maternal grandparents Ralph D. & Charlene B. Satterfield.

A memorial service will be held Sunday June 3, 2001 at 1:30 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. The Rev. John Guliano will officiate. Burial will be in Four Corners Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home the hour prior to the funeral service.
