BUTLER: Janie Faith Williams went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in Butler. She was 37.
She was born August 30, 1977 to father Jesse Williams and mother Alice (Tackett) Bond in Mansfield. Faith was graduated from Mansfield Senior High with the class of 1995, and she was very active in their softball and basketball programs.
Faith was the kind of girl who loved brightening other people’s moods. She delighted in her nieces and nephews, but above all Faith cherished her dog Charmin.
She regularly attended River of Life Church in Butler and enjoyed time with her friends at Oasis Club in Mansfield. She formerly attended Elm Street Baptist in Shelby.
Faith considered more than two dozen guys and gals to be her brothers and sisters, and among them she is survived by: Seth (Tammy) Williams along with Seth’s children: Dakota, Dustin, Nakiah and Makilah Williams, Jamie Cooper, Glenna Stryker, Phillip (Crystal) Williams, Nathan Rupp, Jeramy (Corrina) Bond, Tim (Bambi) Gilbert, Alice “Joanna” Williams, Annakaye Bond, Mike (Nikki) Guill, David Bond, Levi Rupp, Anita Gibson, Luke Williams, Lynn Pickworth, Michael (Emily) Williams, Gena Ramey, Rebecca Hatman, and Abigail Williams Brooks. Also surviving are aunts and uncles: Dick & Melba Windbigler, Ralph & Louise Bond, and Charles & Cheryl Tackett and literally too many nieces and nephews to count, though she loved them dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father Alice & Melvin Bond; her father Jesse Williams; a sister Brandy Bond; two uncles Richard Bond and Mack Salyers; and an aunt Carol Salyers.
Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service honoring her life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Pastor Bill Lewis will officiate and burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
Contributions in her memory to benefit her funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated (please make checks payable to: Snyder Funeral Home).
