Janet Sue Hogle, age 71, of Fredericktown passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Country Club Retirement Center in Mount Vernon following a brief illness.

She was born on August 14, 1943 in Knox County to the late Arthur and Hazel (Algire) Litt. Janet was employed as an administrative assistant for Cooper Industries, Kaiser Aluminum and also Ellis Brothers Concrete. She attended the Fredericktown Church of God. Janet enjoyed the time she spent with her family especially her granddaughters. Her favorite Bible verse was 1 John 4:4 “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world”.

Janet is survived by her son David (Marcy) Hogle of Bellville; two granddaughters, Hanna Marie Hogle and Holly Sue Hogle; and her sister Julia (Merle) Doyle of Fredericktown.

Besides her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Hogle and four brothers, Harold, John, Caryl, and Larry Litt.

In keeping with Janet’s wishes, there will be no public service. The family will observe a private service at a later date.
