Janet S. Baehr, 79, of Galion, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Galion Community Hospital after a one day illness.
Born November 21, 1932 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Hazel Garverick Craun.
Janet was a graduate of Galion High School in 1950 and belonged to Galion Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She worked at Galion Iron Works prior to her marriage and was a homemaker most of her life.
Surviving are three daughters and one son-in-law, Frances and Terry Tumblin of Coshocton and Becky Killingbeck and Louise E. Keldie, both of Galion; four grandchildren; Steven Jessica Kochheiser, Jeremy Adam Kochheiser, Nicole Bradford Bethune and Justin Tumblin; seven great-grandchildren and three sisters; Jean Quay of Indianapolis, Jane Ann Flory of Findlay and Joyce Kreps of Galion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother, Edythe Brocklesby Craun and one granddaughter, Andrea Christine Killingbeck,
Per Janet’s request, no visitation or funeral services will be held. Private burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Galion.
