Janet Lynn Pugsley, age 46, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Janet was born October 17, 1972 in Marion, Ohio to the late Michael Paul and Kathryn Marie (Arcuri) Roberts.  Janet grew up attending St. Mary Church in Marion and graduated from Marion Catholic and Tri-Rivers in 1991.

Janet had a strong and outgoing personality and would help anyone in need, no questions asked.  She found employment for the past 23 years with Clayton Homes as an administrative assistant, but was truly “The Office Drill Sargent.”

Janet met George Pugsley at work and on June 6, 2014 and the two blended their families. George preceded Janet in death, less than a year ago, on November 13, 2018.

Janet will be forever missed by her daughter, Brenna Hall of Marion; stepchildren, Breanna (Calvin Wray) Pugsley of Galion, Sara Pugsley of Athens, and Kyle Pugsley of Galion; grandchildren, Finn, Jude and Briar; sisters, Yvonne (Thomas) Longacre and Linda Zelnik both of Caledonia; and nieces and nephews, Amanda Zelnik, Crystal Honeter, Lee Brady, Matthew Longacre, and Kate Longacre.

A funeral service will be held at Snyder Funeral Homes, GUNDER/HALL Chapel, 347 West Center Street, on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 1:30 pm with Father Thomas Buffer officiating.  Friends may call two hours prior to the service and burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Marion.
