BUTLER: Janet (Long) Page, 67, of Butler passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Janet was born September 11, 1945 in Enterprise, West Virginia the daughter of Leroy and Susie (Chrastina) Long.
Janet worked for Gorman Rupp Industries in Bellville .
A wonderful caregiver, Janet cared for the elderly in the Butler area. She attended Clear Fork North Bend Church of the Brethren.
Described as the “Best Grandma”, Janet always supported her family and was active and involved in the lives of her grandchildren.
She enjoyed line dancing and collecting dolls. She was a member of the American Legion Post #535.
Janet is survived by her husband Ron Page of Butler; sons Roger (Teresa) Brokaw and Jeff (Michelle) Brokaw all of Bellville; step children Mathew Page of Bellville, Mary Page of Mansfield and Carrie Remy of Miami; grandchildren Nicholas Brokaw, Brittany Smith, Shelbi Brokaw, Stephanie Brokaw, Hailie Page, Markie Page, Sadie Page, Ashley Page Cantzler, Mary Page; great granddaughter Eve Cantzler; siblings Eddie Long of Butler, Bob (Janice) Long of Butler, Ronnie (LuAnn) Long of Butler, Harold (Sue) Long of Loudonville, Robert (Deanna) Snyder of Butler, Joe (Alma) Skoog of Bellville; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 12, 2013 from 1-3pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home where Janet’s funeral service will began at 3pm. Pastor Patrick Bailey will officiate.
Memorial contributions to Hospice of Knox County or the Clear Fork-Butler Nutrition Program may be made through the funeral home.
