Janet H. Wynn, 85, of St. Rt. 314, Fredericktown, Ohio died Monday, April 1, 2002 in Morrow County Hospital.
She was born in Hebron, Illinois, on March 2, 1917, the daughter of the late Frank and Charlotte Proudfoot Kissner. She worked as a coat seamstress for Windbreaker Manufacturing in Danville, IL before moving here in 1988. She was a member of the Farmers Chapel United Methodist Church in Danville, Seniors on Center, the Marengo American Legion Post #710 Ladies Auxiliary, and Tops International.
She is survived by a son Kenneth L. Melton of Round Lake Beach, IL; two daughters Kathleen (Bobby) Adams of Chesterville, OH, and Janice Posey of Bossier City, LA; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a sister Louise Koffen of Wauconda, IL.
Her husbands Lawrence Melton and Samuel Wynn preceded her in death. 4 brothers; Frank Kissner, Harvey Kissner, Lawrence Kissner and James Kissner, and 2 grandchildren also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Craven Funeral Home in Mt. Gilead on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Pastor Doug Bryan will conduct funeral services there Friday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Chesterville. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
