MANSFIELD: Jane was born on May 19, 1914 at home in Mansfield, Ohio to Detroit Hiner Parr and Erma Mae Crum Parr. She had four siblings.

While working at Heilman’s grocery store she met Kenneth Heilman, their nephew, from Cleveland Ohio. They married and moved to Cleveland. They had a daughter Beverly.  Jane moved back to Mansfield around 1947. She married Bill Harper in 1953.

She worked at Farmer’s Bank for six years and was one of the first women tellers. She then worked for Colby Earick Auto Sales and eventually retired from Charles Hoffman Plumbing Company.

Her joy was becoming a grandma to David, Michael, Marcia, Karen and Jill.

Jane was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) which she enjoyed very much, Mansfield Federation of Women’s Club where she loved to play bridge, the Ohio Genealogy Society and she was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church. Jane loved to cheer for the Cleveland Indians.

She is also survived by her sister Marilyn Dinges and numerous nieces and nephews. She was loved by everyone.

Jane lived at Primrose for over four years and made many friends while living there.
