    • Our thoughts and prayers are with you Rich and Michelle. So sorry for all of you. Love from Chesterfield, Ryan, Diana, Jack and JP.

  • I offer my deep condolences to the Pfeiffer family in your loss Jan and Carol. I pray for you to have comfort and peace. I met Jan in March, 1968 when I was hired as a commercial loan teller at the Huntington National Bank main office. As a very meticulous and conscientious person, he helped me learn the skills I needed to do the work. A good start set me on the path for my 39 year career with Huntington. I knew Carol through various social events during our work years or the Huntington “Old Timers Club”. May God bless you deeply as you remember your years as family.

  • Janel, You and your family are in my prayers. Saying goodbye is so hard but there is comfort in knowing where they are. Love you sweet friend.

  • I offer my deepest sympathy to the Pfeiffer family on the loss Jan and Carol. I worked with Jan for many years at Huntington Bank. I had conversations with Jan at First and Main several times in the past several months. I remember you times Jan and Carol had Dinners at 25 year banquets. Both Jan and Carol will be missed very much by family and friends. Sincerely, Fred Hulkenberg.

  • Jan and Carol were my good neighbors for over forty-three years. They will be missed by all of us. We were stunned that they went so close together, but it seems so fitting.
Janel, Cheryl, and Rich and the grandkids will have many great memories.

    With sympathy,
    Darlene Garrison

  • My deepest sympathies for your loss. What a beautiful legacy that Jan and Carol have left for future generations. May the void in your hearts be filled during the upcoming days with memories from their lifetimes shared with each of you.

  • Rich,
I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. May the memories you shared with your loved ones bring you and your family comfort during this difficult time.

  • We were saddened to learn of the passing of both Jan and Carol, and we offer our deepest condolences to the entire Pfeiffer family. Jackie and I both worked with Jan for many years at the Huntington and we both think of Jan as one of a kind. His attention to detail was well known throughout the bank, and depending on the subject, he was the go to person. We had a knack for running into Jan and Carol at unusual places. Both couples had a liking for Frisch’s on Rt 23 north of Worthington and we saw them there regularly. When our family was vacationing in Atlantic Beach NC years ago, we took a walk on the beach and low and behold, there was Jan fishing! Losing parents is difficult but losing two so close together is extremely difficult. A saving grace is that they are at peace and together.
Rest In Peace Jan and Carol.

We were so sorry to hear of your parents passing. I know they will be deeply missed.
I worked for Jan in the Huntington Data processing area and then met Carol
through Jan. . They were both so pleasant. We lost track of them – but in later years we would see them shopping at Costco… still a happy couple.
