James M. Armstrong, 34, of Delaware, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware.

James was born on February 24, 1982 in Delaware, son of Kip Armstrong of Delaware and Kim (Stevenson) Lehnert of Delaware.  He had attended Buckeye Valley High School.  He then worked in the Construction industry.  He enjoyed fishing and especially spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents that survive are two sons, Brenden Armstrong and Braven Armstrong, both of Delaware; one daughter, Kyla Armstrong of Murfreesboro, TN; paternal grandfather, Steve Armstrong; maternal grandmother, Lois Armstrong; three brothers, Brandtly Armstrong, Tommy Armstrong and Terry Scott; one sister, Nastassja Armstrong.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Judy Jarvis; maternal grandfather, Michael Stevenson and aunt, Lori Jaccaud.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, OH 43015, where the funeral service  will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Memorial Park, Lewis Center.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests  that contributions in his memory be given to the funeral home to assist with expenses.

  • We grew up together buddy those were the good old days before everything changed and everyone moved away and started different lives i have thought about u all through the years ill never forget. Running around that church and playing in the woods we were so inocent james i gave my life to christ two years ago dont worry ur safe god is good and hes got you
