James “Jamie” Garverick

James “Jamie” Garverick, 42, of Fredericktown passed away Friday, June 29, 2018. He was born on November 3, 1975 in Mount Vernon.

Jamie loved fishing, golfing and had a special bond with animals.

Jamie is survived by his mother, Cheryl Garverick; his father, Mike Vilfer; half-brother, Michael Vilfer; half-sister, Mallory Vilfer; his grandmother, Dixie Garverick; uncle, Trent (Shirley) Garverick; aunts, Linda Fink and Judy Cooper; and numerous beloved cousins.

Jamie was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Garverick.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Snyder Funeral Home, 33 College St., Fredericktown.

  • I’m so sorry for your loss!! I worked with Jamie for almost 2 years at ag forte.. he was definitely a hard worker and made everyone laugh constantly!! God definitely received another angle!!

  • I don’t know what to say because this is so awful for you. I enjoyed Jamie’s sense of humor and his kindness. He was a wonderful son to you and I know this is devastating for you. I don’t know if it helps but I feel this loss too not only because I worked with him and got to know him but more importantly I know how much you love him.
