James “Jamie” Eric Fouts

James “Jamie” Eric Fouts, 39, of Delaware passed away unexpectedly Friday morning October 23, 2015 at his residence.

He was born July 11, 1976 in Morrow County to Jerry and Mary (Adkins) Fouts.

Jamie graduated from Delaware Hayes High School and worked for TTM Mechanical Heating and Cooling. He enjoyed reading, watching movies, playing sports, coaching baseball and repairing computers. He also was an avid OSU Buckeye fan and enjoyed working outside. Jamie was a very kind-hearted and family oriented person who loved helping his parents and making his nieces and great niece happy.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents of Delaware; brother Jon Fouts of Delaware; sisters Missy (Tom) Hooker of Delaware and Mandie Fouts of Powell; and his greatest joys, his nieces Kassie and Kaylee Fouts, Karyn (Nick) Calvin and Skylar Piatt and his great niece Eliyah Fouts; several cousins, dear aunts and uncles and many close friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Emmett and Ina Adkins and paternal grandparents Alvah and Margaret Fouts and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 28, 2015 from 4 – 8 pm at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William Street at Valleyside Drive, Delaware and where funeral services will be held on Thursday October 29, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Matt Mailey officiating. Burial will follow in Marlborough Cemetery.

Contributions in Jamie’s memory may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.

  • I am so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of Jamie growing up in Hayes Colony. Our little group of friends hung out at the pool every day, played Euker, rode bikes and played basketball. We had so much care free fun. He will be missed.
