James J. Fisher, 59, of Delaware, Ohio passed away Saturday morning, February 3, 2018 at the Laurels of Norworth in Worthington.

He was born November 19, 1958 in Delaware, Ohio to the late Joseph and Hilda (Haid) Fisher.

Jim lived at Scioto Trails in Waverly, Ohio, for many years prior to moving to The Laurels of Norworth.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Mary Lou (Robert) Davis of Columbus, Jo Ann (Anthony) Klueppel of Dublin, Sharon Fisher of Springfield, Illinois and Karen (Bruce) Macklin of Delaware; sister-in-law, Barbara Fisher, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother Arthur C. Fisher and brother-in-law, Robert M. Davis.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 5 – 8 pm at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William Street), Delaware. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 82 E. William Street, Delaware. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. The St. Mary Bereavement Committee will then host a luncheon in the Snyder-Rodman Community Room.

  • I will miss Jimmy so much . I met him while I was at laurels of Norworth he always put a smile on my face . I would always joking with my taking his cherished Coke he occasionally would call me a turkey . I was also blessed to meet his wonderful “favorite” sisters. Prayers to the whole family at this time .
