Driving around in that pick-up truck with his cute high school sweetheart at his side- what a gorgeous couple. • He was truly “one of a kind.” His voice was like a finely tuned instrument, very distinct and so much fun to hear. I almost walked past him as I entered Walmart before Christmas until I heard his distinct voice bellow out “HELLO JOHN LAMBERT!” I was already smiling before I located him near the exit. I’ll bet he never failed to address someone by name wherever he encountered them. Why? Because he dearly loved and respected people. His was an example we should all follow. And his performance on the radio when they fooled him about treating his lawn is priceless. Don’t look for a replacement. He was a gift we all shared. And we won’t see another like him. But remember him, we will.

  • Loved reading all the wonderful messages, it brought comfort to me. And what a great video. And we loved the one with Jim, pony and our son Barry when he was young. Thanks for the memories.
