Jaime J. Fisher, 45, of Galion went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loved ones on November 1, 2015.
Jaime loved the Lord as his personal Savior and his faith was evident to all who knew him. He had a passion for people and was loyal beyond measure. He knew no stranger and was always concerned about how others were doing. Jaime was a loving husband and devoted father who loved spending time with family, friends and his church family. He actively served in ministries at Gospel Baptist Church and closely worked with and loved teens.
Jaime was born June 2, 1970 in Phoenix, Arizona and was a graduate of Temple Christian School in 1988. He loved his job, and his Lifetouch family, where he worked for 22 years. He enjoyed collecting comic books, playing euchre, grilling out and watching movies. Jaime married the love of his life, Lisa (Kelly) Fisher, on June 21, 1991 and they enjoyed nearly 25 years together.
In addition to his wife he is survived by children Leah Fisher and Jesse Kelly, both of Galion; mother Linda (Courtwright) Fisher of Galion; twin brother Jeff Fisher of Clinton Township, Michigan and sister Cindy Fisher of Galion and a half brother, Roger Fisher of Mansfield. He was very close to his in-laws, Jack and Linda Plew and family friends Joe and Teresa Frizzell and numerous nieces and nephews including a special nephew Aaron “Shane” Kelly.
He was preceded in death by father Burton Fisher and father-in-law Larry Kelly.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Gospel Baptist Church, 5670 State Route 19, Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 6 with Pastors Mike Neumann, Seth Ellis and Steven Hodges officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Galion.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jaime Fisher Scholarship Fund in care of Lisa Fisher.
