Jack Willard Clark

JOHNSVILLE: Jack Willard Clark, 70, of Troy Township Road 53, Lexington, died Wednesday morning, November 27, 2002, in the Emergency Room at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital.
Mr. Clark was born in Mansfield on August 9, 1932 to Lindus C. and Anna Mae (Ferree) Clark. He graduated, with the Class of 1950, from Johnsville High School and from 1951 to 1955 served his country in the US Air Force, reaching the rank of Sergeant First Class.
In 1959 he graduated from Ohio University with a degree in architectural engineering.
Jack worked for Sprint as a General Land and Buildings Manager, retiring in 1996.
He was a member of Johnsville Grace United Methodist Church, Morrow County Draft Horse, Mule and Pony Association, US Mirror Class Association, E.B. Rinehart Post # 754 American Legion, and past member of Mohican Sailing Club. Jack was involved in his community, coaching Little League in the Madison area for 8 years, currently serving as President of Perry Cook Memorial Library and also a member of Mansfield City Council from 1972 to 1978.
He is survived by his wife Shirley J. Clark whom he married June 30, 1956; two sons and their wives Bret and Kathy Clark of Randolph, New Jersey and Chad E. and Belinda Clark of Grove City; a daughter and her husband Lonna M. and Phil Wiseman of Mansfield; a sister and brother-in-law Jane and Charles Hriesik of Mansfield; and granddaughters Dayna Renee and Lindsey Anne Clark of Grove City.
Friends may call Sunday December 1, 2002 from 4 to 8 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 1 pm. The Reverends James Jensen and Paul Garverick will officiate. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery.
