  • I will always remember Uncle Jack’s visit when we lived in California. Our parents and Uncle George and Aunt Jean and Aunt Glada all had a great time. I’ll also fondly remember visiting Swigart’s Cafe in Butler as a kid and always one of our stops when we came to Ohio. How Uncle Jack didn’t like cooking but we would order food just for fun. Having breakfast with him at the Dutch Heritage when we visited was something we always looked forward to. He will be missed. So sad to see the last of the siblings gone but now they are reunited.

  • He always greeted me with a smile up at the VFW. A brave soul with a bright heart. My sympathies to his family as they bear his loss. May he rest in peace.
