Jack Craven Bennett

Jack Craven Bennett, 55, of Frederick, Maryland passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born May 25, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio he was the son of the late William Hammond Bennett and Virginia Dale Craven Bennett.
He attended Frederick Christian Fellowship Church.
Jack was a sales rep for AVON International Safety, Inc.. He was a Master PADI scuba diver who also enjoyed golfing, watching Fox News and walking his chocolate lab Maverick. Jack was very patriotic and a great American.
He is survived by his significant other of 16 years, Elizabeth McGovern, along with her daughters whom he affectionately referred to as his step children, Jennifer Cavanaugh and husband Jason, Kimberly Phelps and husband Michael, and a grandson, Jackson, his two sisters and two brothers , Bonnie Hilligoss and husband David, Nancy Bray and husband Hank, David Bennett and wife Debbie and Mark Bennett, his nieces and nephews, Dan, Debbie and Dee Dee Brinkman, Bill, Dave, and Beth Bray, Mike and Matt Bennett, an aunt, Janet Craven and an uncle, Dick Bennett.
His family will greet friends on Thursday, December 27, 2007, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead. Graveside services will follow immediately at 11:00 a.m. at the Rivercliff Cemetery in Mount Gilead.
