J. P. Hall, age 62 of Centerburg passed away May 14, 2001 at St. Ann’s Hospital, Westerville.
He was born on April 4, 1939 in Banner, KY to the late Oliver M. & Goldie M. (Curtis) Hall. He moved to Ohio in 1954 from Kentucky. Before taking ill he owned J.P. Hall & Sons construction company. He was a kind and loving father, husband, and papaw. Deeply loved and sadly missed, he loved to make people laugh, enjoyed watching westerns and swinging on his gazebo swing with his wife.
Survived by loving wife: Shirley (Adams) Hall, Sons: Greg (Susan) Hall of Newark, Gary (Dala) Hall of Glenford, Roy (Tina) Hall of Centerburg, Step-son: James Caudill Jr. of Waldo, 5 Step-daughters: Debbie (Joe) Curren of Ashley, Tammy (Terry) Roush of Waldo, Amy (Kenny) Caudill of Marion, Paula (Bill) Caudill of Waldo, Tina Caudill of Waldo, former wife: Margaret (Lucas) Hall, 14 combined grandchildren, 2 Brothers: Roy (Betty) Hall of Centerburg, Otto (Carol) Hall of Mt. Vernon, 4 Sisters: Jean (Ted) Goodman of Centerburg, Faye (Elmer) Boggs of Centerburg, Pat (James) Willson, of Willard, Margie (Bill) Smith of Norwalk, Nieces and Nephews.
Also preceded in death by Sister: Margaret Ousley and Grandson: Mathew Hall.
Friends may call Thursday 4-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR’s 3 at 61, Sunbury, where funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m., with his brothers-in-law: Pastors James Willson and Bill Smith co-officiating. Interment Bloomfield Cemetery near Sparta.
