  • To the Snyder and Hawk families:
So sorry to hear about Iris. I have known the Hawk family for years. We all attended Fredericktown School together and rode the bus together, too. The older boys ran around with my brother and would spend the night at our home sometimes. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. God Bless and may He give you peace at this difficult time.

  • Our deepest sympathy to the Snyder and Hawk families…Iris and I were classmates and friends for many years…I was very surprised and very upset to read about her death..I always loved running into her as she was always such a joy to talk to..and her smile will always be what I think of when I remember her….what a terrible loss for all who knew her…

  • Dear sue,so sorry to hear of iris passing. We went to school together. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

  • Iris, or “sis” as a Don calls her, leaves a hole in our family. She quickly learned to be resilient when dealing with the unending teasing and shenanigans of 6 brothers. She was always the life of the party at family functions and I can still hear her laughter when we would get on one of our laughing jags. How I miss that already.
Following Mom Hawk’s passing, Sis took on the role of organizer and provider of the family. She now joins Mom and others who have gone before her and we know she is enjoying the rewards of heaven.
Thanks for all the memories Sis.
We’ll miss you terribly, but will see you again one day. 💞

  • To Rant Riris, You will be truly missed. You were always the life of any get togethers; laughing and joking around just making sure everyone had as good of time as you always did. I remember when you use to baby sit Steph and I and the few times you had to “get the spoon” out after us all we had to do is say something or just make a silly face and you wonderful smile and a little chuckle would quickly return. I will miss you but am glad you are in a better place. Love You!!

To my family, Kris and I wish we could be there with you all today to honor Aunt Iris’s life and memory. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all today. May God keep his hand on all of your shoulders and give you the strength you need.

  • Remember the good times….. love creates memories that forever bloom in the heart

Wishing you comfort in your time of grief
