Iris Genevieve Parker

BELLVILLE ~ Iris Genevieve Parker, of Bellville, passed away Thursday evening March 18, 2010 in her home. She was 89.
Born March 11, 1921 in Chesterville, she was the daughter of Thomas O. and Maude (Morrison) Rinehart. She was graduated from Bellville High School in 1939 and attended Ashland College to earn her teaching certificate.
Iris worked as director of Andromeda Pre-School in Orange Park, Florida, retiring in 1983.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Terry & Debra Parker of Williamsburg, KY, and Greg & Mary Lou Williams of Bellville; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; sisters and brothers-in-law Juanita Schumaker, Joanne Williams, Joyce Perry, Barbara & Russell Worner and Susan & Loren Thompson all of Bellville; brothers and sisters-in-law Jack & Mary Louise Rinehart of Lake Como, FL, and Paul & Hannah Laura Rinehart of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John R. Parker; her daughter Victoria S. Flenner; a sister LaDonna Livingston; and a brother Richard Rinehart.
The Parker family has selected the compassionate cremation services of the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. Interment will be in Bellville Cemetery.
